MATERIALS
1 package of President Gouda (220 g)
1 tea cup of flour
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons parsley
Salt and pepper
FOR OUTER COATING
1 teacupful of flour
2 eggs
1 glass of white bread crumbs
sunflower seed oil for frying
FOR SERVICE SAUCE
1 teacupful of 100 g cream
100 g shredded President Gouda Cheese
PREPARATION
Grate the President Gouda Cheese with the thin side of the grater. Take them in an oval pot and add flour, egg yolk, chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Knead and shape it into a cylinder of 1 cm x 2.5 cm. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Put flour, eggs and breadcrumbs separately into three wide oval pots in order to bread the croquettes. Cover the products first with flour, then with eggs and finally with bread crumbs.
Pour the sunflower oil in a deep pan and heat it. Fry the croquettes in this oil until golden.
To prepare the sauce, boil the cream and add the grated President Gouda in it. Boil for 1 minute over low heat and serve hot by pouring over the croquettes.
